Well, I haven't typed a real entry in quite a while.  Life has just been a little crazy the last few months.  I took on a summer job to earn some extra money for us.  I began working for a lawn crew doing weed eating.  There are many things I could say about this job and the exhausting work that I do...but I'll leave it at that for now...

Things at church are going well.  The students are responding to what we've got going on and it's really great getting to hang out with them and develop relationships.  They love coming over to the house to hang out.  I got some new books recently so I've got several to add to my reading list.  I got new strings for my guitar.  They're SIT brand.  I've never tried them before and I normally play D'Addario XLs.  So far these new SITs seem pretty good.  I have a friend who is sponsored by Elixer and told me she would give me a set when she's in town.  That's pretty good news since they're pretty expensive. 

I read the final Harry Potter book and really enjoyed it.  Now I've got to wait for that final Inheritance Trilogy book to come out.  On the writing side of things: I've been in a writing mood lately, it's just hard to find the time to sit down and write when I could be doing other things.  I can feel that it's almost time to get back at it.  I feel like major progress will happen soon.
